Sidechain in FL Studio (Hướng dẫn Sidechain trên FL Studio)

Theory:

Sidechaining is the technique where one sound is used to affect another.

A very common application is to sidechain a compressor or gate in order to avoid that multiple sounds in the same frequency range clash, for instance the kick drum and bassline.

As such sidechaining is not new, but the exaggerated effect has become quite popular in Dance music - the characteristic pumping sound is achieved with this technique.

Sidechain là kĩ thuật trong đó một nguồn âm thanh được sử dụng để ảnh hưởng lên một nguồn khác.

Một ứng dụng rất phổ biến là khi ta sidechain một compressor hoặc gate vào chuỗi để tránh việc nhiều âm trong cùng dải tần số xung đột với nhau (như Drum và Bassline chẳng hạn).

Và có thể thấy việc sidechain không phải là kĩ thuật mới, nhưng hiệu ứng của nó đã trở nên khá phổ biến trong thể loại nhạc Dance - Kiểu tiếng dồn dập đặc trưng của nhạc Dance đạt được là nhờ kĩ thuật này.
