Over the past 16 years, Inka
Express has offered locals and tourists alike the opportunity to travel to
historic destinations in the southern region of Peru (Route of the Sun).
Starting out by pioneering the route from Cusco to Puno, they have expanded and
now offer several tour services, including a fully guided all-inclusive
excursion to the 7th wonder of the world Machu Picchu.
As part of its 17th anniversary
initiative, the company has announced their new Cusco City Tour. It is
comprised of an in-depth, 4-hour voyage, discovering what the Incans rendered
as the center or “navel” of their vast expansion. In addition, until December
2016, the company will offer discounts with any Machu Picchu or Sacred Valley
tour. The Cusco City Tour will offer an intriguing and historic look at the
ancient city with highlighted interludes at Saqsayhuaman, The Plaza de Armas,
Koricancha Temple (Temple of the Sun), Ruins of Q’enqo, Pucapucara Red
Fortress, and Tambomachay (The Bath of the Inca). The Cusco City Tours
commenced in the beginning of this year and have already attracted and pleased
more than 1500 tourists and locals.
Furthermore, Inka Express
has plans in 2017 to deliver additional services within the existing tours
including technological and geographical advances, as well as language support
to ease traveler’s minds of anything more than the experience itself.
“Inka Express has strived to offer
the finest and most comfortable services since the company began their first
routes to Puno in 1999,” spokesman for the company stated: this 17-year anniversary is not only a
celebration for us as a company, but a celebration of gratitude to all of our
new and returning customers that made it possible.”
Inka Express Bus offers
services 7-days a week, rain or shine, with their office hours from 9.a.m. 6
p.m. Peruvian time.
